We’re now supporting a pioneering AI company that specializes in computer vision for public safety, security, and industrial operations. They’ve partnered with a global leader in industrial hardware to build a powerful integration between machine data and Milestone Systems’ XProtect platform. Your mission: lead development of a high-performance SDK in C++ that connects physical systems with advanced video analytics.

What You’ll Do

• Build a custom integration into the Milestone XProtect ecosystem using its SDK and APIs
• Design and implement robust APIs that connect machine data to external applications
• Collaborate closely with the client’s engineering team to understand system architecture and requirements
• Deliver secure, scalable, and well-documented code optimized for performance
• Tackle complex challenges in video analytics and real-time system integration

What We’re Looking For

• Strong C++ development skills with a track record of building stable, production-grade integrations
• Hands-on expertise with the Milestone XProtect SDK and its plugin architecture
• Solid experience in API design and implementation
• Familiarity with SDK development practices, including performance tuning and scalability
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills — you’ll be working closely with partner engineering teams

Bonus Points If You Have

• Python experience for scripting or supplementary tools
• Familiarity with video analytics frameworks (e.g., NVIDIA Deepstream SDK)
• Background in industrial IoT, security systems, or public safety tech

• 💸 Pay Rate: $95+ /hour (USD)
