About The Role

Armstrong is seeking a Virtual Surveyor to conduct remote evaluations and generate accurate relocation quotes using the QTG (Quotes-To-Go) Virtual Surveying Platform. This role is vital in educating customers, setting realistic expectations, and ensuring a smooth, stress-free move experience. As a Virtual Surveyor, you’ll collaborate with coordinators and customers to document service needs, quantities, and pricing—all from a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual surveys for Armstrong agencies, military coordinators, and UniGroup agents
• Submit complete service estimates using Quotes-To-Go software
• Review and provide required documentation including customer checklists and estimates
• Ensure compliance with handoff checklists and activity reporting
• Educate customers about relocation services and provide clear communication throughout the process
• Maintain accurate and timely data on all customer interactions and service needs
• Attend mandatory training and stay up-to-date on service protocols
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

• Prior in-home visual survey experience in the Household Goods (HHG) moving industry required
• Minimum 1 year of sales or business development experience
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Customer service focused with the ability to set clear expectations
• Tech-savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital survey platforms
• Detail-oriented with excellent presentation skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs
• Frequent communication via phone and video calls
• Vision requirements include depth perception, color vision, and close focus
