Hourly Rate: $25/hr

Schedule: 4-5 hours/day, 7 days/week (with flexibility and availability during surge periods such as holidays, sales, and new launches)

About the Role

RANAVAT is seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and passionate Customer Experience Associate to join our growing team. This role is central to delivering an A+ experience to our community—from answering questions to solving problems with empathy and speed. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in building loyalty and trust in our luxury Ayurvedic skincare brand.

This is a remote, hourly position ideal for someone who thrives in flexible, fast-paced environments and is passionate about skincare, wellness, and delivering service that goes above and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries through Gorgias (email, chat, and social integrations) with warmth, clarity, and professionalism
  • Resolve product, shipping, subscription, return, and order-related issues promptly and accurately
  • Represent the RANAVAT brand voice and values in all customer interactions
  • Track trends in customer feedback and flag issues or suggestions to leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, E-Commerce, Marketing) to escalate and resolve issues quickly
  • Help improve and maintain macros, FAQs, and help desk documentation within Gorgias
  • Support pre-sale education, product recommendations, and gifting inquiries
  • Step up availability during peak periods (product launches, promotions, holidays, press moments)

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer experience or community support (bonus if in beauty, luxury, or wellness)
  • Proficient in Gorgias, Yotpo, Shopify or similar customer service platforms
  • Strong written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and self-directed with excellent follow-through
  • Emotionally intelligent with a calm, patient, and positive tone
  • Passionate about skincare, Ayurvedic wellness, and luxury consumer experience
  • Comfortable working remotely with flexible availability during non-standard hours as needed
