Job Description
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to be the voice of our client’s tree care business. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of daily operations, managing a bustling schedule of tree trimming and removal services. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely while coordinating with field teams, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to 10-20 daily customer inquiries via phone, providing exceptional service and addressing concerns with professionalism and care
- Skillfully coordinate and maintain a dynamic schedule for tree trimming crews, adapting to weather conditions, customer needs, and last-minute changes
- Act as a liaison between customers and service teams, ensuring clear communication and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Utilize state-of-the-art phone systems and scheduling software to manage appointments efficiently and optimize crew productivity
- Handle sensitive situations involving property concerns or service issues with tact and problem-solving skills
- Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and gather valuable customer feedback, contributing to continuous service improvement
- Assist in managing relationships with a diverse client base, including residential, commercial, and government contracts
- Assist in writing articles for our website to support content marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a service-based or outdoor maintenance industry
- Strong writing skills to answer customer emails
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
- Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Proficiency with phone systems, scheduling software, and basic computer applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging customer situations
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing schedules and priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Passion for outdoor spaces and enthusiasm for contributing to customer satisfaction in the tree care industry
