The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL) is a nonpartisan coalition of foreign policy experts and young professionals dedicated to revitalizing American leadership through strategic investments in development. We believe that effective foreign aid strengthens national security, prevents pandemics from reaching our shores, and boosts the U.S. economy.

Our members drive policy change to support this mission. We are currently looking for volunteer PAC Strategy Associates. This role will help structure A4AL’s political engagement efforts and advise on compliance and growth.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the design and visual branding of the organization’s materials, including policy briefings, event posters and flyers, social media graphics, slide decks, newsletters, and internal documents. You will use tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, or similar platforms to create clear, compelling, and consistent visuals. Collaboration with the social media, policy, and finance teams is essential to ensure alignment across departments. You will also be responsible for maintaining consistency in typography, color schemes, and layout templates, while helping manage and evolve the organization’s visual identity.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign, or comparable design software. A strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling is essential. Prior experience with nonprofit, advocacy, political, or issue-focused organizations is a plus but not required.

This is a fully remote position, with optional in-person opportunities in DC.
