🌍 We’re Hiring: Sustainability Data Analyst (Remote) ♻️📊

We’re looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll turn climate, carbon, and ESG data into insights that matter—for the planet and the business.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing:
- 📈 Analyze Environmental & ESG Data
- Work with large datasets related to energy use, emissions (CO₂e), waste, water, supply chains, and more.
- ♻️ Support Sustainability Reporting & KPIs
- Help track progress toward sustainability goals (e.g., Net Zero, SDGs, SBTi), and generate ESG reports for stakeholders or regulatory compliance.
- 📊 Build Dashboards & Visualizations
- Create tools and visual reports using platforms likePower BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio to communicate sustainability performance.
- 📁 Clean, Structure, and Validate Data
- Ensure data integrity across multiple sources—internal systems, public databases, carbon calculators, or lifecycle tools (e.g. GHG Protocol).
- 📚 Conduct Benchmarking & Research
- Compare sustainability performance across industries, geographies, and standards (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD).
- 🤝 Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with sustainability officers, operations, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure data supports broader ESG strategy.
✅ You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have 2+ years of experience in data analytics, environmental science, ESG reporting, or a related field.
- Are proficient in Excel + SQL, and have experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Understand sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, SBTi).
- Can translate complex environmental data into clear, actionable insights.
- Bonus: experience with Python, LCA tools, carbon accounting platforms, or ESG software (like Watershed, Persefoni, Net Zero Cloud).
